Brass and Woodwind

Beginner Saxophone is personalized for each student. Basic topics will be covered, such as how to clean, put together, and hold the saxophone, how to finger the notes, slurring and tonguing, how to blow correctly into the instrument to develop a nice tone, and how to read music.

Beginning Tuba is personalized for each student. Basic topics will be covered such as posture, breathing, embouchure, mouthpiece placement, holding the instrument, sustained tones, the descending slur, the ascending slur, and how to read music.

Beginner Bassoon is personalized for each student. Basic topics will be covered such as how to clean, put together, and hold the bassoon, how to finger the notes, posture, breathing, embouchure, how to blow correctly into the instrument to develop a nice tone, and how to read music.
